Stogie was my stud fee pick, a son of my cherished GWP "Boise". He has always been a wonderful dog to live with, train and exhibit. The ONLY dog I have ever been withheld on in the ring, twice in fact because of his solid liver color which most judges had never seen or simply didn't care for. Never mind that fact - I finished him by the age of 15 months and he had many Best of Breed wins and group placements in his career, due to his structure, floaty gait and harsh, correct coat which is a hallmark of the breed and I finished his Junior Hunter title before he was 7 months old. I even brought Stogie out to a show at age 11 and the Australian judge awarded him Best of Breed, telling me how impressed she was with his condition and coat. Stogie has been on several wild bird hunts and done extremely well, even now he still loves to hunt, has a keen nose, lots of desire and is happy to run the fields every day.

Fox Valley Frisky Bizness RATN

  • Fox Valley Frisky Bizness RATN
  • Call Name: "Harry"
  • DOB: April 13, 2011 - Breeder: Julie Felten
    Fox Valley Parson Russell Terriers
  • AKC Registration #: RN222775/03
  • Sire: Ch. Fox Valley Diamond'N The Ruff NA NAJ JE
  • Dam: Fox Valley By Design
  • Health & Soundness: Excellent
  • Altered Male

Harry was named by Julie and the name stuck - it fits him. This is the dog that worships the ground I walk on, is vibrant and fun, loves to do anything and can be a bit dramatic at times, rolling on his back and playing "dead" when he isn't getting enough attention. "See? Now you've killed me.... I'm dead.... if you pay attention to me right now, I may just spring back to life". Oh Harry you poor boy!
Harry loves to be at the center of everything and will "work" almost anything including the canister vac which he tried unsuccessfully to animate one day - nonstop entertainment. We have done some earthdog work and he has a great nose, lots of intensity and drive, plus he's super cute. He would have made an awesome show dog but mother nature had other plans.... which is fine, I love him like crazy and I enjoy the performance titles just as much.

In fact Harry went to the inaugural Great Lakes Barn Hunt in Union Grove, Wisconsin and got a rat hunting title! He is really turning on with this game and will now be in open which requires even more scent discrimination to correctly indicate where rats are hiding in hay bales, as opposed to just litter or an empty tube. Check out Barn Hunt Association, LLC for more information on this fun new sport.

Fox Valley Valentina

  • Fox Valley Valentina
  • Call Name: "Valen"
  • DOB: Feb 17, 2012 - Breeder: Julie Felten
    Fox Valley Parson Russell Terriers
  • AKC Registration #: RN236312/04
  • Sire: Ch. Round Town Romeo
  • Dam: Ch. Fox Valley Here's Lucy
  • Health & Soundness: Excellent
  • B.A.E.R Audiology Test: Normal - Both Ears

Valen... always "on", ready for anything and looks damn cute doing whatever she's doing. That terrier tenacity always shines through and we constantly laugh at her antics, although she has earned the alternative names of "holy terror" and "hell raiser", she is very sweet and gets on well with everybody.
When Valen was 6 months old we were showing at the Valpo dog show so I entered her in the puppy and adult match and she won the whole thing even beating a stunning male adult Beagle! I hope that bodes well for her show career as her next real show I had her out at Sheboygan KC and our judge remarked "she's the cutest thing here" and then gave her BOB and she got a G2 out of the puppy group that day.
Pictured: Thank you to the talented Butch McCartney for the stunning puppy photos of Valen! We did an impromptu session at a show when Valen was 8 wks and I have some adorable baby pix of her as a result.
