Recent Accomplishments at SandStorm Kennels

2011

OshKosh/Winnegamie: 05.21-22.2011: More wins for us! Ted took the points on Saturday under Lydia Coleman Hutchinson and Nitro got his 2nd major on Sunday from the Bred-By class under Barbara Dempsey-Alderman. Maybelline went reserve and Sparkle won her class. Bindi took the points on Sunday under Doug Winslow and best of all..... Berlin went Best of Breed from the Amatuer Owner Handler class with her owner Joe Pyka under Steve Keating! Another very good show weekend.

Indianhead KC - 05.15.2011: Lis' puppies are just turning 10 months and doing very well!! Brought Chocolate out for the FIRST time. She'd never been on ring matting, never in a dog show, never on the table for exam at a show. Yet, she went out there and fearlessly and happily gaited and stood on the table to go RWB to the open exhibit.
Best part: Nitro went Best of Breed and then we took home a Group 4 from the Toy Group. Over 500 miles on the truck in one day but it went well.

Badger/Janesville-Beloit/Badger Kennel Clubs - May 2011: Wow! What a GREAT weekend! Started off with Berlin getting her first point on Friday shown by her owner Joe in the Amateur Owner Handler class and Bindi going Reserve. Saturday, Bindi took the points going Winners/ Best of Winners and I think she went Reserve again on Sunday. Great Weim weekend for us.

We did awesome in Cresteds too! Nitro (SandStorm Fuel'n The Fire) got a major from the bred-by class! Yay Nitro!, Ted won his class and Maybelline (SandStorm Maybe It's Maybelline)was picked for "Best Puppy". It just got better from there.....
Maybelline went out and strutted her little cute self around the ring amid some really nice competition, stacked with great expression and WON the puppy toy group!!! Fortunately our judge was consistent and also gave her points toward her championship on Sunday when he judged Cresteds. She went Winner's Bitch with some tough competition and Best of Opp. My little Maybelline.... she's quite the girl.
Hopefully the pix all turned out nicely and I'll post them when I get them back.

April 2011:
Judged the GSP National Hunt Test with Pat Dunleavy at Hunters Point in Brownsville, WI. Saw some great dog work, but I think my favorite episode was the JH dog that pointed and flushed a rabbit. I probably saw more intensity on that particular dog than most of them that day. :) It was exceedingly windy and those horrible, giant wind turbines around the edges of the property were making a chopping noise like a train coming up behind us but all in all we saw some decent dogs, it didn't rain and met many nice people. The club and in particular secretary Karen Combs did a fantastic job with this event and Hunters Point is a gorgeous piece of property. The lodge is beautiful, neat and clean. Perfect for a National event.

My TRUE Hairless Boy Ted got his first show points! Ted (SandStorm So Cute N My Birthday Suit) went Winner's Dog at Fond Du Lac on Sunday for his first 2 points. Hard to do with a true hairless, but he is a very nice example of the breed with a great attitude.

AKC awarded me Breeder of Merit for Chinese Cresteds and Weimaraners. Nice!!

I continue to be impressed with my young Rocky Mountain Horse "Blackberry". He's a very smart and talented boy. Very accepting of everything I ask of him and I think I'll be able to throw a leg over him within a couple of months. Our weather has SUCKED for trail riding, cold and muddy and I am dying to get the other horses out on the trails. I did bring Blackberry with me to a trial I was judging. He camped next to the trailer all day with his water and hay while I had the other horses out on the course. He was such a good boy!! Never went crazy being alone or kicked the trailer or anything you might expect of a youngster. Love those Rocky's.... so level headed, but then again I work with them to help ensure those behaviors are prevalent.

March 2011: Attended shows near Milwaukee. Bindi went Winner's Bitch for points that day with her sister Berlin (handled by her owner Joe Pyka) going Reserve! Sunday, Bindi won again. Great Weim weekend!!
In addition to that we put points on Maybelline from the 6 - 9 month puppy class and Nitro from Bred-by. Then on Sunday for a real treat a group of us went to Balisteri's Pizza. I swear they put candy in that pizza or something.... Delicioso!

January 2011: Started off the show season with Bindi (weim) entered in puppy classes at shows. She is pointed and doing very well.

The big fun of January was bringing out Ted, Maybelline and Nitro for their first dog shows. Ted was still not convinced he is a "dog" so he wanted to walk around on his hind legs like a two-legged boy. But, when I told him to he threw himself into the most perfect show stack! He has quite the ego that boy.....

Maybelline and Nitro performed exceedingly well for little 6 month old puppies at their first dog show. They were very good on the table and did pretty well gaiting. It's all a learning experience for them at this point so I want to keep it fun. They got a lot of socialization on the tables with the public also. We definitely had fun at that show and it was productive for us.

2010

The year is off to a great start with the kickoff of our new barn and indoor riding arena! This will create more opportunities to work dogs and horses during the winter here in Wisconsin which can get treacherous once we have ice underfoot.

OshKosh KC / Packerland KC: Jan 2010:
Brought out a new dog. A lovely German Shorthaired Pointer named "Chuck" owned by Karen Combs. He won RWD each day. Great movement and lovely dark pigment and an awesome temperament on top of all that!
We appreciate Karen's confidence in our abilities with "Chuck".
Lis went BOB one day and no majors for Sparkle but dogs all showed well and that is the most important thing.
Also a very nice job by the clubs putting on these shows.

The most exciting news from 2010 was the beautiful, healthy litter of Weimaraner puppies that Lady gave me and the gorgeous, healthy litter of crested pups I got from Lis. Both girls were exceptional moms, pups were all healthy and vigorous and the best part? The best part is the wonderful, loving families pups went to. All pups are doing very well in their new homes. Loved, adored, trained, socialized and (Weims) are hunted over. We went "international" with a beautiful puff boy from Lis who is now in B.C. with his "dog mom" Sonya. I couldn't ask for anything better!!

Finally went back to dog shows in December of 2010. Brought Bindi out and she did very well for a puppy, getting her first show points immediately. Will bring the Lis kids out in January. What fun!!

Meantime, the barn and arena got finished. I love it, horses love it and everybody happy. Construction crews did a superb job and were fantastic about picking up after themselves. (very important with paws and hooves around) Had some great judging assignments in 2010 that I really enjoyed also. All in all a great year, my health is holding steady and I feel very blessed with all the fantastic stuff going on in my life.

2009

Sparkle wins again!
March 1st SandStorm Snow Doubt (Sparkle) took Winner's and then went on for Best Of Winners under judge Marcie Dobkens.

Lis showed in the Best of Breed class and while she did not take the breed win, she showed beautifully and we were extremely pleased with her also.
The beautiful black puffer will be shown sparingly and in the meantime I am working on obedience with her. She has learned to take, hold and give a wooden obedience dumbbell. Hopefully we will have some new obedience titles to report on sometime this year!

2009 Planned Breeding: Lady and Craig have returned from their trip to South Carolina where Lady was bred to an exceptional stud dog;
Ch. Cameo's Capt'n Jack Silversmith JH NSD owned by Jeannette Myers & Elena Smith Lamberson.

Please click here for more information on this exciting litter Ch. Capt'n Jack Silversmith JH NSD X Ch. C.T. SandStorm's A Lady Of The Lake

We are very hopeful for beautiful Weimaraner babies in May!

April 10, 2009 - Mother Nature is being cruel to me. I took Lady for an ultrasound today and there are no beautiful weim babies in there.
While we are VERY disappointed, I will now work her for her Master Hunter title.

However, I think very highly of this breeding so will repeat it when Lady comes in season again.

Sparkle wins again!
May 16th: I entered Sparkle in the Open Class for the first time and she beat a nice entry to win! She then took Best of Winners and Best of Breed!! Our appreciation to AKC judge Mrs. Sally Baugniet, it is always great to win but to win over a special with the class bitch you bred is particularly exciting!

Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss
Lis went Best of Breed on May 17th! We are only bringing her out sparingly as she will turn two this week. She is such a pretty girl and lots of fun to show! Many requests for pups whenever we are going to breed her. (which won't be for at least another year). Our appreciation to AKC judge Mrs. Dawn Hansen for the Best of Breed win!

May 29, 30, 31 2009: More Wins!!!

Lis took Best of Breed all three days! Our thanks to judges, Everett Dean, William Bergum and James Jim Hupp.

Sparkle went Reserve on Friday and then true to form won the points from the open class ultimately going Best of Winners under William Bergum and James Jim Hupp on Saturday and Sunday. It was an exhausting but productive weekend! Thanks to Pat Dunleavy for her help and congratulations to her as we put points on her GWP's too!

June 02, 2009: Today is the return of Wendy Van Goolen 2009!!!!!

Ok so the month of June FLEW BY as is usual when Wendy is here. Another great month of hosting Wendy and Solo at our place. The horses sure loved the extra attention they got too!

One day we had a surprise birthday party for Wendy. While I feel that we ALWAYS have all kinds of things to celebrate, on this particular day it was Wendy's "birthday".
I needed co-conspirators to pull this off, of course Sue and Pat stepped right up. It was a fun day!
Check out the party pix

June 3, 2009: Happy (EARLY) Birthday To Me!!
Today I acquired a gorgeous Rocky Mountain Yearling Gelding: S.B. Blackberry.
Blackberry was bred by Dan and Tamara Callstrom of StoneBridge Farm in Minnesota.
You can check out more information and pix on the 'Horses' page.

June 27, 28 2009: We win again!!

Lis went Best of Breed both days under judges Norman Patton and Judy Webb. Sparkle beat a nice entry of Open bitches in that class to then go Winner's Bitch for the points both days. Unfortunately we were one shy of a major on Saturday, but she garnered 4 more points this weekend!
We decided to bring little Chazz Michael Michaels out for his show debut under Judy Webb. He did great and went Reserve Winner's Dog his first time out!
Big THANKS to our judges Norman Patton and Judy Webb for the wins and especially to Judy Webb for the extra attention Chazz received from her.
It is so very important to have young dogs approached and positively interacted with at shows or they can literally be ruined for life.
Other news: Took Best of Breed with Haar Baron's Billie Holliday (GWP bitch owned by Pat Dunleavy) from the classes over the special on Saturday under judge Mrs. Jean Austin. Unfortunately poor Pat was so sick she had to go home and was unable to stay for the groups (and didn't make it back on Sunday either) but the good news is she is getting healthy again!
Also took RWB with Deb Zorn's PWD bitch "Mattie". "Mattie" is very sweet and fun to show and we appreciate Deb trusting us with her very special girl.
Anyway, another fun and winning weekend. We also have to commend the Kettle Moraine Kennel Club on putting on a very nice show.

July 11, 12, 2009: Kishwaukee Kennel Club
Another great weekend! Sparkle went Best of Breed / Best Of Winners BOTH DAYS to capture a major on Sunday!!

Big thanks to Mrs Charlotte Patterson for the wins on Saturday. As a breeder, it is especially significant to have both the judge and their steward compliment your dog using the words "She's stunning".
Sparkle was out there using all her 1000 candlewatt powers of cuteness and Mrs. Judy Harrington rewarded her with Best of Breed and Best of Winners on Sunday giving her a major!

July 25, 2009: Waukesha Kennel Club
Lis goes Best of Opposite under South African judge Mr. Franklin Van Der Spuy!

July 28, 2009: American Kennel Club Invitation For Lady
The world's first Ch/CT Weimaraner "Lady" has been invited to the very prestigious AKC 2009 Tracking Invitational in September down in Kentucky. We will enter and see if we get drawn.

August 07, 2009: Cudahy Kennel Club
Chazz won his class and Sparkle went Best of Opposite under Judge Lee Reasin!
New Champion!
Ch. Haar Baron's Billie Holliday a GWP bitch owned by Pat Dunleavy is a new show champion!
We took the win by going WB for the point to finish her and then went Best of Breed over the finished dog also entered. Thank you to judge Doug Johnson for the honor of us finishing Billie in style!

August 08, 2009: Cudahy Kennel Club
In spite of us showing up early ready to kick butt, the weather was not great and got worse as the morning progressed with the superintendent finally canceling the show due to inclement weather.
So the only thing we won that day was the right to leave the show grounds with our wet gear and go to a nearby restaurant for breakfast......

August 19, 2009: AKC National Tracking Invitational Draw:
Unbelievable. We got drawn as FIRST ALTERNATE. So since we were not drawn to participate in the tracking invitational festivities, we will stay home and support our local dog show that weekend.

August 22, 2009: Elgin Kennel Club
Sparkle went Winner's Bitch from the Open class to go onto win Best of Winners for another 2 pts!

August 23, 2009: Elgin Kennel Club
Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss goes Best of Opposite!!

Sept 5, 2009: German Wirehaired Pointer Club Of Wisconsin
Spent a nice day in the saddle judging pointing dogs.

Sept 12-13, 2009: Moraine Tracking Club - Lincolnshire, IL
I am Secretary of the VST this weekend. It's an 8 dog test with 9 alternates.
Fingers crossed we have a few dog-handler teams successfully work these challenging tests and pass!

Results: Unfortunately nobody passed the test. While this is very unfortunate, it is the norm. Just goes to show how special Lady's accomplishments truly are!

Sept 19-20, 2009: Sheboygan Kennel Club - Sheboygan WI
Big Wins!! Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss went Best of Breed and then went on to Group3 on Saturday under Judge Mr. Douglas Windsor!!
Sparkle and Chazz went Winner's Bitch and Winner's Dog/Best Of Opposite too. Haar Baron's Van The Man a GWP male owned by Patricia Dunleavy took Winner's Dog for the points on Saturday under Judge Mrs. Peggy Beisel-McIlwane. Another point for Van!
Sunday was even better. Lis again took Best of Breed in Cresteds with Sparkle and Chazz receiving the Winner's Bitch and Winner's Dog ribbons. Chazz also went BOW/BOS and showed beautifully. He is really understanding the fun of being a show boy and has received very nice compliments from judges and other people at the shows.
In the Toy Group Lis went GROUP2! Thank you to Judge Mr. Gareth Morgan-Jones for the wins!

Van was put up as Winner's Dog and Best Of Breed By Judge Mrs. Deborah Verdon so another point for Van The Man!

Both judges this weekend commented on Lis' solid topline, structure, correct coat and movement. They were very complimentary of her and I appreciate the way both judges really got their hands on the dog and thoroughly went over her. It means a lot to have judges award her so highly after this type of exam and not just because she can move and is so darned cute!

Sept 26-27, 2009: Rockford-Freeport Illinois Kennel Club
Sparkle beat out all the girls for Winner's Bitch under Judge Mr. Luc Boileau on Saturday and again on Sunday under Judge Mr. Joe Gregory!
Unfortunately the major broke so we are still chasing that little 3 pointer......
Haar Baron's Van The Man took Winner's Dog on Saturday for another point and then went on to beat the special for Best Of Breed under Judge Mr. Joe Gregory!
No competition in Wirehairs on Sunday so we sent Van back home to his mommy for a couple of weeks.

Oct 4, 2009: German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Wisconsin
Spent another lovely day in the saddle judging pointing dogs.
Love that beautiful, fall, Wisconsin weather! Perfect for hunting upland game....

Oct 5, 2009: Special Weimaraner Request
We have been asked to contribute pix and info about Lady for the new edition of 'Weimaraner Ways'.

Oct 14, 2009: Mattoon Kennel Club - Springfield, IL
Oct 15, 2009: Sandemac Kennel Club - Springfield, IL
Oct 16-17 2009: Illinois Capitol Kennel Club - Springfield, IL
Lis takes Best of Breed again over a nice entry of 25 Chinese Cresteds under AKC Judge Mrs. Pamela Peat!
Lots of lovely compliments about Lis' size, her beautiful headpiece, personality and especially her very correct coat.
She is always a blast to show and performs great. I never have to worry if Lis is going to be a happy girl..... she is always a happy girl - too happy sometimes! Her latest thing is to sit on her ringside table and sing to try to get my attention when I'm in the ring with other dogs. I can't help but laugh when I hear her and so does everybody standing ringside.

Sparkle and Chazz did well too. Sparkle won her class getting her closer to that last major, unfortunately falling a bit short. Lots of "games" going on at these shows. Frustrating.
Chazz is a little show off and wants to please always handling himself well while still having lots of fun. He beat other dogs this weekend which is always a nice substantiation of our breeding program.

We also won 3 more points with Haar Barons Van The Man, a young male GWP owned by Patricia Dunleavy. Another dog to chase that last major on before the end of the year.....

West Michigan Harvest Cluster - NEW CHAMPION!

Nov 6, 2009: Greater Muskegon Kennel Club - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Haar Barons Van The Man a Male German Wirehaired Pointer is a new Champion! We won the major under Mrs. Gloria Geringer to complete the requirements to finish him. Big Congratulations to Patricia Dunleavy on her new champion!
Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss wins Best Of Breed in Chinese Cresteds under Dr. Lee Reasin!
Craig had to show her in the Toy Group as I was working on finishing 'Van' in wirehairs that afternoon. Lis always behaves herself and a good experience for Craig!

Nov 7, 2009: Kalamazoo Kennel Club - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Ch. Haar Barons Van The Man does it again! I bumped him up to the Best Of Breed class and Judge BettyAnn Hale decided he was truly the Best Of Breed GWP out of a nice entry.

Nov 8, 2009: Grand Rapids Kennel Club - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss goes Best Of Breed under Mrs. Jane Forsyth! Unfortunately the major broke in class bitches (again) so we are still chasing the 3 pts on Sparkle to finish her. Somewhere, someday at some show everybody that has entered will be there and the major will hold. Gotta maintain my optimism.....

All in all a great cluster of shows, dogs did well and we had fun. I will miss having Ch. Haar Barons Van The Man with me as he is a great example of his breed with the added bonus of outstanding temperament and personality. Hopefully his owner will have me show him in Best Of Breed from time to time. Pix soon!!

Nov 9, 2009 - Chicago, Illinois
Arrived home from Grand Rapids, MI, turned around and went to Chicago.
Jim's band 'Marasol' is touring and I needed to go spend time with my boy. Awesome tunes, unbelievable energy and the venue was packed with fans, friends and family. What a great time and over way too quickly.
Check out Marasol
Little Juni came along as my truck dog. She is always is well behaved and a great ambassador for the Chinese Crested breed.

Dec 5-6, 2009: Granite City Kennel Club - St. Cloud, MN
More Best Of Breed Wins and a Group Placement!

Lis does it again under Mr. William Bergum for BOB on Saturday and BOB on Sunday under Mrs. Elaine Mathis.
Lis then went onto win a Group3 in the Toy Group under Mrs. Mathis (and 100.00 bucks to boot)!!
We also brought little SandStorm Snow Contest (Chazz) with us and showed him to Mrs. Mathis and he went Reserve Winner's Dog!
Ch. Haar Barons Van The Man won Best Of Breed on Sunday under Mr. Carl Liepman.

Lots of compliments about the dogs from judges and others at the shows and Mrs. Mathis specifically commented on Lis' great movement, size and coat.
All in all another great show weekend and we made it home before the blizzard hit.

Dec 2009: Christmas Cluster Dog Shows - Rosemont, IL
Trying to keep things simple just entered Sparkle looking for the major. We came soooo close once again!

She won WB from a large Open class 2 of 3 days and while we were trying for Best of Breed to finish her it didn't quite happen.
Sparkle has gone up over specials many times and it is just a matter of waiting for shows that have enough entries to create majors. In this economy numbers are definitely down.
However we are very confident that our pretty girl will be a new champion soon!

Also showed Ch. Haar Baron's Van The Man in Best of Breed 2 days. This was pretty challenging as Sparkle was in full blown season and he basically wanted to spend his time with his nose plastered to my skirt and clearly had other intentions than being Mr. Show Dog.

However, we prevailed and took Best Of Breed on Sunday under judge Mr. Jon Cole and the best part was Van's owner was there to cheer on her dog and see him win.

All In All, A Fine 2009!

2008

Lady - New Bench Champion & Champion Tracker!
Lady earned the last major to complete the AKC Conformation Champion title on Saturday, July 22, 2008 making her the Weimaraner breed's very first AKC Bench Champion and AKC Champion Tracker!
She is now Ch. CT SandStorm's A Lady Of The Lake. See her page for more information on this difficult achievement and new pix of her training for field titles.

Ari wins Best Of Opposite from Veteran's at Wisc Weim Specialty!
Ari won Best Veteran at the Wisconsin Weimaraner Specialty on July 25, 2008 and followed that win up with BOS over specials. The old girl's still got it.....

Stogie wins Best Veteran at GWP of WI Specialty!
Stogie won Best Veteran at the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of Wisconsin Specialty on July 26, 2008 and got nice compliments from the judge who stated she would have preferred to see the quality he possesses in the younger GWPs she judged that day. For an older gentleman he is still very solid and sound, exhibiting beautiful floaty movement with nice extension, level topline with a correct coat and nice dark pigment for solid liver dog. Pix soon.
Update: Stogie takes BOB over specials September 13, 2008!
Another Best of Breed win for the old man - Stogie takes BOB again on September 20, 2008!

Biz - Reserve to a major at first shows!
On July 27, 2008 Biz was awarded Reserve Winner's Dog to a major at his very first shows. What a good boy and such a pretty puppy. Update: Biz takes WD September 13, 2008!
Biz takes Best Bred-By-Exhibitor Crested September 21, 2008!

New Champion!!!!!!

Juni
On May 30, 2008 Juni won a 3 pt major making her Ch. De La Mahafus Endless Love.
Our darling little Swedish import is now a finished AKC bench champion. What's next for Juni?
I don't know, but for now she is happy to be playing and hunting out in the fields for mice and voles and herding our sheep. A true farm dog!!! Thank you to Mrs. Martha Furuland of De La Mahafus Chinese Cresteds in Arjang, Sweden for sending Juni to us. She is the sweetest, prettiest little thing and we just adore her whether she is competing, playing or snuggling on the couch with the family! Another smart and funny crested that I will pursue obedience and tracking titles with.

Lis - Another Major Win!
On May 31, 2008 Lis got her first major! She is about halfway to being an AKC bench champion and with that attitude it probably won't take too long.
On June 22, 2008 Lis got her 2nd major! Update: More points for Lis September 14, 2008!
Lis wins again! WB/Best Of Winners September 20, 2008!
Also took her to a CERF clinic where she was pronounced "perfect". (but we knew that)

Crystal still out there winning!
Crystal has been successfully garnering BOB or BOS just about every time out. She gets lots of compliments from show attendees and judges alike. She sure went from being show girl to mother of four back to show girl with ease. Update: Crystal BOS September 14, 2008!
Back to back Best Of Breed wins over specials Sept 20th & 21st, 2008!

SandStorm Snow Doubt “Sparkle” won Best Crested Puppy at the Badgerland Kennel Club Sanctioned Match a couple of weeks ago at the tender age of just 6 months, but to our great delight went onto win the Toy Group and then won BEST PUPPY IN MATCH!!! Wow – what an honor.
Update ... She did it again! Best Crested at another sanctioned match where there were even more cresteds this time. Sparkle went onto a Group 3 in the toy group against some very nice competition that evening also. Pix soon.
More good news: Sparkle went RWB under Mrs. Lois Wolff White at the Kishwaukee Kennel Club Show on July 13, 2008 and her mother (Crystal) won Best of Breed that day too!!
Update: Another RWB for Sparkle, September 14, 2008!
Sparkle WB and first point September 19, 2008 handled by co-breeder/co-owner Craig!!

Since I didn't feel like traveling 7 hours to go to a dog show, I waited until some shows in November to take the girls back out. Was worth the wait!
Sparkle was awarded WB by Judge Shelley Hennessy at the Lake Shore Kennel Club show for 2 points! Lis took the point the next day going WB/BOW from the Open class under Judge Carolyn Taylor and Sparkle went RWB!

New Champion!!!!!!

Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss

Kankakee Kennel Club:
Judge Michael Dachel awarded Lis Winner's Bitch and then gave her BEST OF BREED!
She grabbed those last 2 points making her an AKC Bench Champion that day.
The next day I moved her up to the Best of Breed class and she took the win again over very nice competition. Anybody that knows Lis is aware that she is full of cute little antics and loves to show off (literally). I had to smile when during the Winner's class on Saturday the judge said to me "Take the trick dog and go stand over there" :)

I always said this girl is funny, smart and animated!
I will take her out in Best Of Breed classes from time to time, but she is capable of much more so I will pursue other things like obedience and tracking titles.
Thanks again to Wendy Van Goolen for her great friendship and putting this beautiful, balanced and talented girl in our home. Lis is always a delight and when she is not actively playing or running thru her plethora of attention getting cuteness tricks, she is a little snuggler!

A Great 2008!

3 Bench Champions, 1 Champion Tracker and awesome wins with Crystal's pups!
Juni, Lis and Lady all became AKC Bench Champions and Lady made history in the Weimaraner breed by becoming the youngest Weimaraner to complete a CT and the first Weim to accomplish Ch. CT.

Another New Champion At SandStorm Kennels!!

(USA) Ch. Full Monty A State Of Bliss

Our Dutch Import 'Lis' became a USA AKC Bench Champion on November 29, 2008 at the Kankakee Kennel Club show. Thank you to Judge Michael Dachel for putting her up for Best Of Breed making her a champion that day. I moved her up to BOB for Sunday and she won again!
