This will be a really fun assignment as the WCA ratings tests are what AKC initially used to pattern development of the JH,SH and MH pointing breeding hunting tests.
Love to watch those gray dogs do what they do best!
Three days of judging good dogs, hanging with fun people and of course Boomer and Ridge get worked.

Judging AKC field events

Field trials differ greatly from hunting tests so any person judging both must have participated in both and gained their judge’s license based on practical experience.
I have put many titles on many dogs in hunt tests and run many field trials. Additionally I have chaired or been secretary for these AKC events. I am honored to judge the GWPCA National Hunt Test this fall in downstate Illinois.
